Over 350 competitors from 46 clubs around the country battled it out for the pretigous titles of National Champion 2006.

The competition held at Loughborough University and hosted by Sport Taekwondo UK saw some much awaited fights and new faces emerging on to the UK circuit.

There were some great performances from UTF fighters but special mentions need to go out to Christian Ngalibi, Victoria Unt, Dawaud Izza, Lewis Houston, Martin Nguyen and Temi Jegede.

The team competition was won by Liverpool Elite who are emerging as one of the top sports taekwondo clubs in the country.

The UTF would like to thank Brian Tilley and Chris Codling and the organising commitee for putting on a well run competition.
