Dorset Invitational Open

The Dorset Invitational championship hosted by Dorset Taekwondo Association was a well run competition with over 215 competitors. Teams from across the country took to the mats at the Littledown sports complex in Bournemouth.

The UTF had a very successful day picking up numerous medals as well as the team trophy. Rochayria Edwin was in devastating form in her contests and was awarded the prestiges accolade of the best female fighter trophy of the day.

Overall it was pleasing to see the development players from New Wave Academy, St Katherines, E Chon TKD And Jaguar Taekwondo working together to produce a string of good results and memorable performances.

The coaching team of Master Alex Edwin, Master Cliff Edwin, Nicky Loizou, Master Mark Sargent, Master Ebe Valentine and David Cook, did a great job coaching so many successful fighters on a great day for all the UTF fighters, coaches and support team.
